CHUCK E. CHEESE
should be familiar to any of
us who enjoy fun, good
food, and a fantastic game
room!  Chuck E. is, of
course, the mascot and
spokesperson (or
should
we say "spokesanimal"?)
of one of the most popular
and innovative restaurant
chains in the world.

Where a kid can be a kid,
Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza is
also a special place for
families. The menu features
homemade pizza with
fresh, high quality
ingredients, sandwiches,
bread sticks, and a salad
bar. In addition, Chuck E.
Cheese's offers games and
rides for kids of all ages
and an animated stage
show starring Chuck E. and
his musical friends. The
restaurants are also
popular locations for
birthday parties and special
events for groups and
organizations. Fundraising
is also available for pre-
kindergarten and
elementary schools during
a scheduled weeknight
event. Learn more at www.
chuckeschool.com.

The Chuck E. Cheese's
Pizza concept has been in
operation since May of
1977 when the first
restaurant was opened in
San Jose, California, by
Atari founder Nolan
Bushnell.  Called the Chuck
E. Cheese's Pizza Time
Theatre, it  featured singing
animatronic characters.
The original Pizza Time
Players main show lineup
featured Crusty the Cat,
Jasper T. Jowls, Pasqually,
and the Warblettes
performing with Chuck E. in
a theater where customers
would also dine on
delicious pizza with a
multitude of unbeatable
toppings and bottomless
pitchers of soft drinks.
Other Pizza Time Players
cast members added in
later years included Mr.
Munch, Dolli Dimples, The
Mopsey Sisters, Foxy
Colleen Flannigan, Sally
Sashay, Madame Oink,
Harmony Howlette, and
Helen Henny.

In 1984, the company's
parent, Pizza Time Theatre,
Inc., filed for Chapter 11
bankruptcy and was
purchased by competitor
ShowBiz Pizza, which also
featured pizza, video
games, and singing
animatronic characters. It
was at this time that
Richard Frank became the
CEO and decided to
change the target audience
from the 10 to 17 years age
group to the 0 to 12 years
range they have today. Both
the Chuck E. Cheese's and
ShowBiz names continued
to be used until 1998, when
Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza
became the name for all of
the restaurants.

Chuck E. Cheese
specializes in birthday
parties for those 1-12 years
of age. Two party
packages are available
and a minimum of 4 guests
is required. During a
birthday party, the children
(and adults) are served by
a host/hostess, view a
LIVE! show, and play
games.    Prices and
packages vary by location.
In order to check the price
at a location near you, visit
chuckecheese.com and
click on “Make a
Reservation”. Then select
the desired location and
indicate the approximate
number of children and
adults attending the party
along with the desired time
and date. The screen that
follows will provide you with
a complete selection of
prices and packages for
that specific location.

Please note, most locations
also offer special packages
for hosting parties on
weekdays.  : The
restaurants know when a
party has been booked on-
line and will issue the
tokens on the day of the
party.

Party times are set
schedules and cannot be
altered.  The time(s) you will
be offered is what we have
available on that day.  If you
want an earlier time, you
are more than welcome to
come into the restaurant
early and let the children
play.  However, your table
and host(ess) will only be
prepared for you at the
scheduled time of your
reservation.  If you need a
later time, we recommend
that you try a different
location or date.
You are more than
welcome to stay in the
restaurant after the
scheduled party time is
over.  However, you will
need to relocate the party
to the general dining/game
area in order to
accommodate guests who
have reserved the time
frame after yours.

Below are the most
Frequently Asked
Questions (or FAQs)
regarding reserving a
birthday party at Chuck E.
Cheese's, followed by the
appropriate answers.

Question: Is there a cost or
charge for adults/parents to
attend the party?
Answer: There is no charge
for these guests, unless you
choose to purchase food
and/or drinks for them. If
you will be doing so, you
can order these items on
the day of the party through
your host(ess).

Question: What happens if
my guest count changes?
Answer: We cannot
guarantee that we can
increase your seating once
a reservation has been
made. Therefore, add
seats if you think more
guests will attend, if they
are available. Additionally,
we charge for the number
of children booked. If not all
the children attend, we
would charge the original
reserved amount minus four
(For example, if you
reserved for 16 and only 8
show up, you would be
charged for 12). Therefore,
we recommend that you
confirm your reservation
here or call back with your
confirmation number should
you need to decrease or
increase the seating
arrangements.

Question: What kind of
decorations do you have
and/or can I bring my own?
Answer: We offer
decorations that are a
Chuck E. Cheese design.
You are more than
welcome to bring in your
own if you would like
something different.
However, we ask that you
not bring in outside cups.

Question: What does the
cake look like and/or can I
bring my own?
Answer: We offer either a
white or chocolate cake
with a white cream frosting.
It serves approximately 12
children. If you have more
than 12 children in your
party, we will bring out
additional slices so that
every child will be served.
You may bring in your own
cake if you prefer and in
place of your Chuck E.
Cheese’s cake we will offer
you 20 tokens.

You can see what a Chuck
E. Cheese’s cake looks
like by visiting www.
chuckecheese.com.

Question: Do you have ice
cream?
Answer: The majority of our
locations offer a variety of
ice cream treats through
our ice cream vending
machine. To learn more
about our selection, visit
www.chuckecheese.com.

If you prefer, you may also
bring in your own ice cream
or ice cream cake. We
recommend that you bring
in a scoop to help when
serving. Other than ice
cream, no other outside
food beverages are
permitted at Chuck E.
Cheese’s.

Question: What is in the
favor bags?
Answer: Chuck E. Cheese’
s favor bags include a
variety of toys and treats
inside a special collectible
container that kid’s will love.
You can see and example
of one
here.

Please note, this photo is
representative of a typical
favor bag but contents and
packaging are subject to
change.

Question: How do I get
invitations?
Answer: You can send e-
Mail invitations or print
paper invitations on our
web site
here.

Question: May I bring in a
piñata?
Answer: For safety reasons
we do not allow them in the
restaurants.

Question:  Can I bring
outside food or drinks?
Answer: Only cake and ice
cream are allowed-no other
outside food or drink.

Question: Will my credit
card be charged?  When
do I pay?
Answer: Your credit card
simply holds the
reservation. We do not
charge ($30) unless you do
not show up on the day of
the party or call to cancel
24 hours ahead. We
charge for the amount of
children that you reserved. If
not all the children attend,
we would charge the
original reserved amount
minus four (For example, if
you reserved for 16 and
only 8 show up, you would
be charged for 12). Your
total is handled on the day
of the party.

Question: What does the
party package include?

Answer: The party package
include:

minutes
A host or hostess to take
care of everything for you
Each child receives:
